Annie Sloan's Painters in Residence

Painters in Residence is a really original project of Annie Sloan's. Every three months she selects someone working with her paint from any part of the world and features their projects during that time. They are not stockists of her paint but instead people working with it in an appealing creative way. The idea is to highlight the many many different ways in which the paint can be used.

It's all about inspiration and exploration.

Jonathon Marc Mendez of Painted Love was Annie's last PIR

Have a look at his gorgeous gorgeous work. He always has amazing ideas and his tutorials are well worth following

And here are some of the ones who have gone before

Abigail and Ryan's Shibori Tie Dye Fabric using Annie's paint as a dye.For more information on how to achieve this look just click on the link above and all will be revealed!

Beau Ford from Australia,  produces some really fun work. Great ideas on how to import every day articles into her art form on furniture

All dripey!

Simon Olsson had a fine touch when it comes to manipulating the paint on his work surfaces.

Janice Issett just ran away with the idea and her fab near miss clashes of colour pushed the boundary in a really cool way.

AND NOW FOR THE LATEST PIR
