What We Do At Sheldon

The Nutshell Version of who we are

This is me, Jane - (so you can put a face to my name!)  I have had Chalk Paint™ covered hands for as long as Chalk Paint has existed - literally! First of all in Spain, where I had my interiors shop and studio. We did alot of one off commission work for folk in their beautiful Mediterranean houses.

On my return to England a few years ago I took up a post at Annie Sloan's HQ in Oxford. There I mentored her stockist and taught the paint techniques workshops along side Annie. It was a busy and rewarding few years as I watched her empire grow and befriended many of what are now my fellow stockists.

I am now based in my studio-shop at Sheldon Paint. I head up the decorative paint technique workshops and work on the furniture painting commissions that we are asked to do. Apart from the official Annie Sloan workshops I offer a range of follow ups to complement  them. With ample space, I welcome folk to share my studio space on their own projects. We have a lively creative community of folk all as mad about their painting as I am!

Furniture Paint Techniques Workshops.
Choose between a tutorial tailored to suit you or a group workshop covering specific topics. This includes our popular Annie Sloan Techniques workshops. Have a look at the Paint Workshops page for more info.

As I have worked with Annie Sloan for a crazily long time you will find a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to your painterly questions regarding Annie Sloan and her magic Chalk Paint™ I always carry a super healthy stock of paints and products  for sale too.

Have you got a much loved but tired piece of furniture that just won't fit in with your current homestyle but you can't bear to change it? Well I can help.
