Annie Sloan's latest Painter in Residence - Idiko Horvath..
She is of Hungarian origins, and was educated in Budapest but now has made her home in Ontario, Canada.
Her work is dynamically colourful and I'm sure she will be sharing some brave schemes to experiment with.
I particularly enjoy her use of Ombre, where you gently blend two colours together making the flowing pattern you can see in the piece above.
Just look at this door and its wicked effect.
Couldn't resist popping in a close up so you can really see how she worked those colours together,
